Hungkuang University’s main language of instruction is Mandarin-Chinese, and we may require you to provide evidence of your Mandarin-Chinese proficiency to make sure your university education is a success.

We reserve the right to request a Mandarin-Chinese language test from any applicant. If asked to prove your Mandarin-Chinese proficiency, you must obtain a Chinese-language proficiency certificate at TOCFL A 2.

If you do not meet Hungkuang University’s Mandarin-Chinese language proficiency standards, we also offer students the opportunity to study Mandarin-Chinese in our International Foundation Program for a year before they officially begin their program.
