In the Sports Injury Prevention and Exercise Instruction subspecialty, you will have the opportunity to practice skills related to clinical sports medicine, exercise and nutrition, sports injury and tapping, exercise prescription, and exercise physiology.
In the Long-Term Care and Reablement subspecialty, you will have the opportunity to practice skills related to physical therapy assessments of elderly citizens, health promotion of elderly citizens, comprehensive physical assessments of elderly citizens, and even exercise for older adults.
In the Assistive Device Production subspecialty, you will have the opportunity to practice skills related to rehabilitation product design and development, foot orthotics fabrication, lower limb orthotics fabrication, and more.
In these separate subspecialties, you will learn how to use all the relevant physical therapy assessments and tools to assist you in the diagnoses of injuries, prescriptions of exercises, and the development of orthotic devices.
